Sasha Caterina

For Sasha Caterina's Mom, Marie, it was L.O.V.E. at first view!  Marie saw Sasha Cateina online and had to meet her, so she made the 2 hour drive to our adoption event to meet her in person!  Afer meeting the little puff ball, it was settled...she was the purfect match!  Sasha Caterina moved in and immediatly took over her heart and her home!  Her days are spent ruling the roost and giving her new brother a run for his money!

Matthew

Matthew was found, alone and in the middle of the road on a dark night in the middle of a hurricane!  You would neer know the desperate situation that he came from as his little heart overflows with love and his purr engine never stops running!  This precious little boy found a home of his own and won't ever know the hard life of a stray.  Here's what his furever family has to say...Trey and Matthew have quite the bond.  He is so fun and spunky and enjoying being with us...he has brought so much joy to the kids!

Chess 2, Daley and Zsa Zsa

These 3 kitties, now named, Sparkie, Sprock and Callie, grew up in a variety of situations, but they all had one thing in common...being an indoor only cat was out of the question.  These independent-minded felines went to a wonderful horse barn where they are housed in a warm barn with plenty of food.  They quickly  took control and now run their barn, chasing mice and making mischief that delights and entertains!  Thank you for taking a chance to provide these guys with a second chance at life!

Giovanni

Giovanni, now named Paul, came to us from the road where he had been hit by a car!  Fortunantly, he was only minimally injured.  Thin and shy, he quickly blossomed!  This little guy was fortunate enough to steal the hearts of a beautiful family!  The threat of cars, hunger, and the elements have been replaced by love, laughter, food and toys! #whiskedtosafety

Spanky

Spanky found a furrever home and we could not be more thrilled!!!  This little man has had a hard time of it...his wonderful personality didn't show at our Adoption Events where he spent his time hiding in the litter box!  His new family took a chance on him and they are in LOVE!  Spanky just sparkles with happiness and joy and became an indispensable part of the family in less than a day!

Stormy and Rainey

From nearly drowning in a storm drain to a home of their own, it doesn't get much better than this!  Stormy and Rainey were found hypothermic and near death inside a flooded storm drain.  Never knowing a kind word or gentle touch, these two warmed up quickly... however adoption events with the unfamiliar surroundings and noises were trying.  They typically spent the events crammed into their litter box, sleeping.  Upon seeing them and hearing their story, their adoptive parents just couldn't leave them...we are thrilled to report that this pair was adopted together and will never again be left out in the rain!  #stormdrainbabies #adoptedtogether

Xavier

Sweet Xavier, now named Oscar, could not be any cuter if he tried!  Pulled from the shelter along with his litter mates, this handsome little boy stole the show and his mom's heart at his first adoption event!  He immedatly integrated into the family, finding a furry friend and partner in mischief making in his new 10 month old golden retriever sister, Charlie!

Pistachio and Sesame Tu

This pair of loving boys were pulled from the shelter when Pistachio broke with an Upper Respiratory Infection.  Sesame possessed the looks that immediately drew his mom who "just had to have him!" After hearing what a shy cat he was and that he tended to be what we refer to as a "monkey see, monkey do" cat (he takes his cues and confidence from other cats), she immediately started looking for a companion and fell in love with Pistachio and his quirky confidence!  These 2 love bugs now known as Iggy and Sugar are living it up together in the lap of luxury!  #2kittensarebetterthan1

Cleocatra

Cleocatra, now named Sadie, believes in love at first sight!  This little cowgirl wrangled herself into position to lasso a wonderful family at her first adoption event!  On her home visit, she staked her furever claim on her parents hearts and home!  Life couldn't hae worked out any better for this beautiful girl...these days, Sadie can be found playing chase or sharing the window and her favorite sunspot with her husky sister, Thea!

Digger and Mixer

Cat Around Town Project got a desperate call from an individual who works construction...it seems that 4 little kittens were found in a piece of equipment on their job site and as no momma could be found and the area was unsafe, she took the kittens and contacted us.  We picked up the kittens and affectionately dubbed them the Construction Crew...Digger, Dozer, Skidder and Mixer! The kittens were in foster care for less than a week when a family friend came to visit and fell in love!  We were watching a movie and she was holding Mixer, but needed to use the restroom, so she set Mixer down...the tiny kitten who was still in the unsteady on her feet phase refused to be set down and repeatedly crawled back into her lap and curled up!  I immediately teased her that Mixer had chosen her and let her know that I would deliver!  About a week later, she contacted me to let me know she was interested in adopting a pair!  We stayed in touch and when the Construction Crew tested negative for FIV/Felv and were ready for adoption, I double checked with her and this half of the crew were never officially listed for adoption!  Having never done a transport before, but determined to get the girls to Texas, the motto becoming the realization that we would go to the moon to place our kitties in the purrfect home!  Through the love and dedication of amazing rescue volunteers, these girls now named Scout and Gizmo made the over 1000 mile trip to be reunited with their mom!  #tothemoonandbackfortherighthome

Dozer and Skidder

Dozer and Skidder were found in a piece of equipment on a construction site and bottle raised.  These girls immediatly set out to build their own dream...a home of their own!  They paved a path into the heart and home of a wonderful family and gained the bonus of a little boy and girl!  I'm not sure who was more excited on move in day, the kids or the kittens!  So happy to see their dream of a loving home become a reality! #2kittens2kidhoursofentertainment

Speckle and Alexi

Speckle was another Lowe's kitty who found her furever home along with little Alexi and they are loving life...Just hear what their new mom says..."The kiddos ~ are in LOVE with the kitties! Alexi loves the kids as much as they love her already! (We are still learning how to properly hold little kittens but they don't mind the attention). Speckle is a little squeaker (so tiny she squeaks, I can't call it a meow) I snapped a shot of her laying her head on my shoulder."  They have joined ranks with their new siblings to guard the passageway, ensuring that none shall pass without pets or treats!

Shy Baby

Onyx, formerly known as Shy Baby...is the last of the Lowe's litter and just like her litter mates, she hit the jackpot! We were a little nervous taking her to the adoption event as she's the most reserved of her siblings and the hustle and excitement of an adoption event can be overwhelming... Not a problem for Onyx, she met her family and it was love at first sight! She now has a foster sister and a little girl of her very own! Onyx is spoiled rotten and loves them unconditionally!

Ash is another one of the Lowe's kitties who never made it out of his Foster Home! We are so happy that they were able to care for these kitties and beyond thrilled that he wiggled his way into their hearts forever!

Kristoff and Olaff

Kristoff and Olaff, now named Miles and Oliver were found as orphans and bottled raised.  They were extremely bonded and the hope was that they would be aopted together...enter Santiago.  He had been looking for a pair for around a year and happened to stumble upon our adoption event.  He was immediatly struck by the boys and after visiting with them for about 5 minutes requested an application!  We did a home visit same day and the "struck" feeling was mutual, the boys acted as if they were already members of the family and owned the joint!  These days Milo and Oliver are living the life of luxery and all that remains is the question of who saved who!

Anna

At the end of March Cat Around Town got a call from the Humane Society...a lady brought in 3 newborn kittens that were found in her shed. They were around a week old and still had their umbilical cords attached. Needless to say we rearranged our schedules and they went into foster care that night. These little guys, affectionately named Anna, Kristoff, and Olaff by their foster mom's niece, required around the clock care with feedings every 3-4 hours. Around 3 weeks their... eyes opened and after 5 weeks their foster mom started transitioning them to canned food and then dry. Their personalities quickly became apparent with Anna as the diva who I swear, posed for all her pictures! It's been a month now since Sage, the kitten formally known as Anna, went to her furever home! Sage is thriving as the spunky boss of the house and living the spoiled life of luxury! From a cardboard box to a home of her own, we couldn't be more thrilled with Sage's happy tail!

Tux

Tux was part of the Lowe's litter...he was discovered as a pallet was about to be set onto him and his littermates.  Fortunantely the sharp eyes of the employee saw the tiny
kittens and rescued them.
With the assistance of Cat
Around Town, they fostered
the momma cat and all 5 kittens!  He came to our last adoption event, but his Foster Parents couldn't let him go!  This lucky little guy is going to be spoiled for life
instead of the uncertainty he would have faced!  His current favorite activities include snuggling with his parents, offering kisses and mischief making with his furever family!

Ash

Ash is another one of the Lowe's kitties who never made it out of his Foster Home!  We are so happy that they were able to care for these kitties and beyond thrilled that he wiggled his way into their hearts forever!

Camden

Camden was rescued from behind a fast food restaurant near a busy road that had already claimed his litter mate!  Fortunately for Camden, we found him in time!  This terrified little guy hid under the bed at his foster home for his first week, but little by little he began to trust, first his foster siblings and then his foster parents!  Today, Camden remains initially shy of newcomers, but 5 minutes with a feather toy and his fear is replaced by a pouncing, playful hunter!  So glad this sweet boy has found a forever home where trust abounds and fears dissolve into fun!

Mo-Pie and Onyx

Mo Pie and Onyx were rescued from a colony as teenagers...they have come leaps and bounds from the terrified community cats that were destined to live a short scared life, to trusting members of a happy home where the only thing that might attack is their favorite feather stick!

Sugarr and Spice

Taken from a colony, Sugarr and Spice adjusted quickly to a life of luxury and are so excited to be adopted together and are living it up in their new furever home!
